  • The family seems to be experiencing repetitive feelings and/or behaviours.

  • A family is dealing with changes. For example, associated with illness, mental health or substance use problems, unemployment, moving, aging, divorce, trauma, or death.

  • A family is coping with transgenerational trauma.

  • A family is looking for improving in communications between family members.

Our Approach

In family therapy, the client is the family unit. The main purpose is to look further than each individual that makes up the family and focus on a holistic approach when facing challenges. In saying this family therapy is also a place for an unbiased perspective where all members of the family are heard and validated.

Among other forms of therapy, our counsellors practice:

  • Systemic therapy

  • Bowenian family therapy

  • Satir Model Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
