About Christine

Christine supports clients through stress, burnout, relationship challenges, family expectations, and life transitions. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity about each person’s story. She draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Bowen Family Systems Theory, mindfulness-informed practice, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help clients build self-awareness, psychological flexibility, and healthier relationships with themselves and others. She has particular empathy for young professionals, couples, parents, and those seeking to balance achievement, relationships, and authenticity.

Christine’s path into counselling has been shaped by diverse professional and personal experiences. She began her career as a corporate lawyer in Hong Kong, London, and New York, later led a children’s charity in Hong Kong, and helped build a small business with her husband. Her own experience led to reflection and a renewed commitment to living and working in line with her values, ultimately guiding her into counselling.

Having lived in Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the UK, Christine brings firsthand understanding of both Asian and Western cultures. As part of a bicultural family, she appreciates the richness and complexity of culture, identity, family expectations, and relationships. She has particular empathy for young professionals, couples, parents, and those seeking to balance achievement, relationships, and authenticity.

Outside counselling, Christine enjoys trail running, open-water swimming, reading novels, and relaxing on Lantau beaches. One of her favourite adventures was cycling a tandem bicycle more than 5,000 kilometres across the United States with her husband—an experience that deepened her appreciation for resilience, teamwork, perseverance, and joy in the journey.
